Last June, Eric brought together 5 practitioners who use co-creative design processes (co-making and/or co-design) to discuss the opportunities and challenges that arise with such approaches.

In this evening lecture created by Eric Guibert for the London Festival of Architecture, Anthony Meacock from the Turner Prize winning collective Assemble, the landscape architect Johanna Gibbons, the architect Takeshi Hayatsu, social practice artist Jenny Dunn and gardener architect Eric Guibert, will each present a few case studies where inhabitants and architects design and make, where processes of co-design and co-making are investigated. 

Eric will be teaching with Anthony Powis this year an undergraduate design studio DS[2]4 at the University of Westminster.

On the 11th June, I defended my PhD thesis in Brussels.

Titled The Gardener Architect: designing with the emergent natures of places, it focusses on defining the principles for designing with the creative capacity of socio-ecosystems, both humans and other living beings.
